our story
My name is Flóra Karácsony and I am a plant lover. Given my name, plants have never been far from me, and as someone from the countryside, I have enjoyed gardening since childhood.
Over the years, I slowly realized
that office life is not for me, which is why I started LaFlorArt, with which I would like to make the rest of my life golden, as those who love what they do are truly fortunate. At first, I only created increasingly special creations for myself, but more and more feedback and orders came from friends, which prompted me to research the market a bit and realize that this is a unique product, and so La FlorArt was born.
I plant the plants in unique glass containers, mainly old chemical flasks, as these were available through the family business. Recycling is very important to me, so I only work with glass that no longer functions in the market as it once did.
The ‘team’ started with just me during the COVID pandemic, but as the brand developed, I saw the need for someone to help with production, making holders, cutting caps.
